The Hall Ute Competition and Family Day came about as a result of a group of people from the National Capital region deciding to raise money for a charity. For 2008, 2009 and 2010, the chosen charity is Camp Quality.

The Hall Ute Competition and Family Day is a Camp Quality santioned event.

The Hall Ute Competition and Family Day has two main purposes, which are:
